Abstract
This guidance—a key output of the European Commission's AGIS 2006 project led by the University of Salford—aims to help local authorities, planners, police, academics, design professionals and developers identify methods of addressing crime prevention through design and planning, tailoring the approach to the European context. Guidance on addressing fear of crime and insecurity is also provided.
