Abstract

The subject is to study expression of creativity in the city with the recording of the creative gesture presented as visible narratives. The first phase will focus on Manchester and Salford. Both cities are locations are significant centres for cultural activity in the areas indicated and contain work that has had a profound cultural impact on my practice and cultural influences. This data will be presented as a map of a place that offers the story of the modern city as a creative, emotional environment instead of the view of the city as a cold dystopian cartography.
