A journey through the history of rock music. It\'s 1975 and rock gets shock treatment on both sides of the Atlantic with the advent of punk. From New York came punk poets like Patti Smith and Richard Hell and the stripped back sound of the Ramones. From London came the sneer and swagger of the Sex Pistols, the political punk of the Clash and the outrageous all-girl band the Slits. Punk took rock back to basics as young musicians took control to create a new kind of music with passion and fury.
