Chuck D: pop and politics 2005
Recordings are available to view on campus only.
American rapper Chuck D has spent a lifetime fighting the powers that be. He invented the idea of politicalised hip-hop in the 1980s and has watched in horror as the music and culture have turned into a gun-toting celebration of violence and materialism.
