Abstract
As amember of TPM’s editorial board I volunteer ‘Comments’ on topics that interest me. One such topic that arouses much debate in the UK, regardless of whether people work in maternity care or with young people, is that of youth and pregnancy. From my perspective I feel that young people get a raw deal in the UK, are easily marginalised and disregarded within health services. This paper argues that health tends to treat young people as an homogenous group, one that is problematic and troublesome.
