Angus, JAS 2001, 'The Effects of Specular Versus Diffuse Reflections on the Frequency Response at the Listener' , Journal of the Audio Engineering Society, 49 (3) , pp. 125-133.Full text not available from this repository.
It is shown how the frequency response of the sound from a monitoring loudspeaker in a control room is affected by the presence of specular or diffuse early reflections. The effect of specular and diffuse early reflections on the frequency response described by means of a simple theoretical model. Simulated results are presented and the results discussed.
