Closed form analytical solutions are given for the point force and point moment mobilities at the free edge of a semi-infinite plate. Previously, these solutions have been known only in terms of unsolved integrals. The solutions give mobility as functions of Poisson's ratio times the characteristic mobility. The edge-excited plate therefore can be added to the relatively small number of structures for which exact solutions are available. The value of such solutions lies in allowing computer simulations, and testing for approximate methods.
