Abstract

Some support workers mistakenly believe that reflective practice is difficult to undertake or is only performed by staff members who are engaged in written assignments. This article aims to encourage all support workers to adopt reflective practice as an activity to be undertaken within their everyday working lives. Reflective models are discussed as well as mentoring and the use of reflective diaries and journals.
