Welcome to the digital archive of the Centre for Applied Archaeology, School of the Built Environment. This resource is designed to make available the research archive of the Centre which covers three main themes; archaeological research in areas such as 3D visualisation and industrial archaeology; community archaeology; and developer-funded archaeology. The type of material deposited ranges from 3D image files, photographs of archaeological objects and sites, to original plans of excavations and buildings, and technical reports of our archaeological fieldwork.

The Centre works across the city region and throughout the North West and the selection of material spanning our projects is regularly updated as the Centre’s research progresses, so be sure to revisit regularly to find what’s new.
