Abstract
This workshop took place at the 2010 NAWE conference. It gave participants the opportunity to make use of what happens to us when we work in a language other than our own. We explored how we can be creative with a little and how a lack of linguistic resources forces linguistic creativity. Less becomes more. Participants enjoyed a range of activities in Dutch, French, German, Spanish, and Welsh. No knowledge of these languages was necessary. This article describes the exercise in a format that enables readers to try them out at home.
