Summary / Description
The Centre for Applied Archaeology (CfAA) was established within the School of the Built Environment in September 2009. The overall aim of the Centre is to explore the interlinkages between archaeology and construction, planning regimes and local communities through: *Contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the School and beyond * Undertaking archaeology research projects in historic/industrial archaeology and 3D visualisation * Delivering community archaeology projects * Developing new third-stream activities through commercial consultancy archaeology activities in the construction industry and planning process.
