Abstract

This paper was written following a presentation at the Healthcare events conference ('Effective collaborative working in mental health', Westminster, London, 9-10 May 2001). It considers multidisciplinary notekeeping, service user involvement and the underpinning culture that enables clinical effectiveness on an inpatient unit.
