Abstract

Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessments (GTAAs) have now been completed covering all parts of the Yorkshire and The Humber Region. This note presents an overview of the process and the resulting patterns of requirements for additional residential and transit pitches for Gypsies and Travellers and plots for Travelling Showpeople. It has been produced by the Salford Housing & Urban Studies Unit (University of Salford) and the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (University of Birmingham).
