After reading this chapter you will be able to:
- Describe the differences between leadership and management and their relevance to transition
- Examine what is meant by clinical leadership
- Explore the NHS Healthcare Leadership Model, and other self-assessment tools that help promote effective leadership development
- Undertake a SWOT Analysis to provide a visual map of the information generated from the self-assessment
- Create a transition focused personal development plan based on the content of the self-assessment and SWOT analysis
