Abstract
Our paper offers an independent measure of the citation of published research in the field of migration studies. Using the Google Scholar citation database and Ann Harzing ranking software, we have created a list of the 100 most cited articles, books and authors in migration studies. Like any lists, this one also has some drawbacks but it reflects, in part, the value and influence of the work our colleagues in this fast growing field produce.
