Paul is a Reader in Strength and Conditioning and the programme leader for the MSc Strength and Conditioning. Paul is also an honorary research fellow at Leeds Beckett University and an adjunct Professor at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. He worked as Head of Sports Science Support for Salford City Reds Rugby League squad (2009-2013), coordinated the Strength and Conditioning and Sports Science support for England Mens Lacrosse (2009-2012). He has also worked with numerous sports teams, through the University partnerships, including Sale Sharks RFU, Manchester City Football Club, Wigan Warriors RFL and Lancashire County Cricket Club.
