Melissa is a Research Fellow in environmental psychology at the University of Salford with 10 years research experience. Her research focus on people-environment relationships has been applied to the evacuation of the WTC on September 11, the health benefits of nature, the psychological benefits of group walks, design against crime, and the expertise of sound in the urban environment. She has a strong research record, which provides an evidence base for the health benefits of natural environments. Melissa is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
