David is an international jurist and Lecturer in Law. His research and practice stand at the interface between international environmental, economic and institutional law with focus on international climate change law & policy.
He is currently working on a monograph about the institutional complexity of climate finance and the role of international law.
In addition to teaching and research activities at Salford Business School, David has also expertise in advising and training NGOs’ personnel and state officials on legal issues concerning the UN climate change regime and climate negotiations.
David holds a PhD and an LLM from the University of Edinburgh and has also studied law at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and the University of Copenhagen.
