I joined the University of Salford as a Lecturer in Developmental Psychology in September 2018. For the previous 11 years, I had been conducting research into various aspects of children's language development at the Universities of York and Liverpool. I completed my PhD on syntactic errors in children's speech, but have also worked on areas such as phonological development, the role of gesture in vocabulary growth, and how children's play links with various aspects of their devlopment, including language.
