My key areas of expertise are in the areas of energy performance of buildings and monitoring buildings using sensing technologies. I also have a background of Energy Engineering and Building Surveying. Both of these roles have involved many retrofit projects of both commercial and domestic buildings and the associated monitoring of their performance.
At the Energy House,we have carried out research for many large multinational companies, on new energy efficient technologies, and also some large scale building physics investigations into subjects such as the co-heating test and whole house heat loss methodologies, and researching the effects of various different forms of insulation.
