As an international brass soloist for 30 years I have played in over 2500 concerts around the world from Europe to the Americas to Asia, having played as principal Trombone for Black Dyke Band for over 18 years. I have performed to the likes of Her Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness Princess Anne.
I have been a Michael Rath Ambassador since 2006 and have performed on stage with other world-renowned trombone soloists such as Ian Bousfield, Wycliffe Gordon, Christian Lindberg and Joseph Alessi at international events. Most recently in 2018 I toured Panama City, Panama, Sante Fe Argentina, Halifax, Middle Tennessee University, and Akron, USA as a soloist.

My research interests include discovering existing repertoire from the 17th Century to the American Civil War, modular instrument design and experimenting with brass practice techniques and methods and the health implications of trombone players lung.
