I joined the University of Salford, School of Computing, Science and Engineering, in 2015 as a Lecturer in Civil (Geotechnical) Engineering. I worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering at University of East London since March 2013 immediately after completing a fully funded (by the prestigious Exeter Research Scholarship – ERS) PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Exeter. I have been involved in teaching and research activities including research bids and proposals to attract internal and external funding. I have supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research students and projects. My research work have been published in the form of over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications as well as book chapters and were part of the Research

I have been involved in teaching and research activities including research bids and proposals to attract internal and external funding. I have supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research students and projects. My research work have been published in the form of over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications as well as book chapters and were part of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) submission in 2014. I am member of professional associations and societies in my areas of expertise including:
Higher Education Academy (HEA),
Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE),
British Geotechnical Association (BGA),
International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM),
International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
I am involved in experimental and numerical research as well as leading and teaching Engineering Materials, Soil Mechanics and Geo-environmental related modules in various levels.
My main research areas of interest are experimental and numerical investigations into, and modelling complicated behavior of Geotechnical Engineering problems (detailed above).
