Biography:

Peter Walker is Professor of Construction Science & Management at the University of Salford. Before this he was Professor of Architecture and Head of the Belfast School of Architecture, and prior to that he worked in practice as director of a large healthcare practice, Devereux Architects (now Ryder Architecture). Peter has been a Professional and External Examiner at eight universities, - presently at the University of Leeds - and has published a number of academic papers and books, most recently a monograph of the Stirling Prize winning practice, Hodder and Partners. He has been on the Council of SCHOSA for five years, is the Honorary Treasurer, and Chair of the Business Ethics Working Party.
