Biography:

I joined the University of Salford in 2021. I am interested in narrative theory, LGBTQIA+ lives, identities, sexualities, relationships, and creative research methodologies. I have presented my work in Mexico, Spain, Canada, U.K., Malta, France, and New Zealand. I have been a postdoctoral research fellow, a tutor in postgraduate courses in counselling, psychotherapy, and applied social sciences at the University of Edinburgh, and a lecturer at the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Universidad del Valle de Mexico. I have worked as a mental health professional since 2007 in different private and organisational settings. I work from an integrative approach to counselling and my practice has centred on people living with chronic conditions.
